STEVE FROM GUILDFORD
I was pleased with the price offered for my car and impressed with how
carefully it was pulled out from a position at right angles to my driveway.
Well done to Sam of ScrapMyCar at Aldershot.PAUL FROM CHESSINGTON
I would like to compliment the driver on the service today. He was very
polite when arriving and give me all the correct information. He was very
quick to get the car off my drive even offering for helping, he was sure he
could do it himself. He told me when he was going to get the van to get the
car on it. He was a happy guy and give a very good quality of service.
Feel free to post this on your website with 5 stars recommendation.GARY FROM HAMPTON
Thanks for your email and certificate of Destruction. I have been impressed
with the service your company has provided.
You made it clear and easy to understand the process and have done what you
said you would in the good time.
Is my online quotation guaranteed?
As long as the car is complete (with engine, gearbox, body panels, catalyst, battery and all the wheels) the price we offer is guaranteed for 48hrs and there are no deductions or administration charges whatsoever. Note that the car should be free from any waste and accessible.
How long does it take to collect my car?
Once you agree the price we will contact you within 30 minutes in working hours (we call and arrange a time/day for collection, typically this will be within 48 working hours). The actual collection time takes fifteen minutes; that's to load your car onto the recovery vehicle but it may take longer depending on the location of your car and how difficult it is to remove.
What do I need to provide at the time of collection?
To make the process quick have the registration document (V5C), a photo I.D, a recent utility bill, the car key, and locking wheel nut key if your car has alloy wheels, and any other paperwork you may have for the car would be useful.
What to do I do with my car insurance?
You can cancel your car insurance as soon as the car has been collected. If you cancel your insurance before the car is collected, then it is illegal for you to use it on the public highway.
How do your online quotes work?
We use our own bespoke quotation system to provide you with the best and fastest scrap price for your car. We're not an aggregator that hands your data to someone else, and it is us that will collect your car.

About Maidenhead Berkshire
Maidenhead is a large market town in Berkshire, England, on the southwestern bank of the River Thames. It has an estimated population of 70,374. It is the largest town in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and the fourth largest town in Berkshire, forming part of the border with southern Buckinghamshire. Travelling by road, the town is situated 28 miles (45 km) west of Charing Cross, London, 13 miles (21 km) east-northeast of the county town of Reading, 31 miles (50 km) southeast of Oxford, 8 miles (13 km) east-southeast of Henley-on-Thames, 8 miles (13 km) south of High Wycombe and 7 miles (11 km) northwest of Windsor. The town differs from the Parliamentary constituency of Maidenhead, which includes a number of outer suburbs and villages (including parts of Wokingham and Reading) such as Twyford, Charvil, Remenham, Ruscombe and Wargrave.
The average journey time between Maidenhead and London Paddington is 34 minutes . On an average weekday, there are 118 trains travelling from Maidenhead to London Paddington.
Maidenhead's name stems from the riverside area where the first New wharf or Maiden Hythe was built, as early as Saxon times. In the year 870, an army of Danes invaded the kingdom of Wessex. They disembarked from their longboats by the wharf and ferry crossing at Maidenhead and fought their way overland to Reading where they set up camp and made it their regional power base.
King Charles I met his children for the last time before his execution in 1649 at the Greyhound Inn on the High Street, the site of which is now a branch of the NatWest Bank. The late 18th-century Bear Hotel on the High Street is the best of the town's old coaching inns surviving to this day.
